In this talk, we give some characteristic of entropy of diffeomorphisms on line. In the strong topology of diffeomorphisms on line, we prove that the entropy map is continuous on an open and dense subset of all diffeomorphisms on line. Then, it has this interesting corollary that there is an open and dense subset of all diffeomorphisms on line such that every diffeomorphism in it is robustly zero entropy or robustly positive entropy. In the end, we construct two examples:(i) there is a diffeomorphism such that the entropy map is not continous at it. (ii) there is an open subset of all diffeomorphisms on line such that entropy map is nowhere locally constant in it.
