Abstract: It is a fundamental problem that whether a given Fano manifold admits Kahler-Einstein metrics or not. Recently, Chen-Donaldson-Sun and Tian showed that the problem is equivalent to the purely algebraic condition named “K-stability”. However, the definition of K-stability is complicated and it is stilldifficult to check K-stability. In this talk, I will introduce a new (and seems easy) condition using the volume functions which is equivalent to K-(semi)stability.
