Abstract: To a torus actionon a complex vector space, Gelfand, Kapranov and Zelevinsky introduce a systemof differential equations, called the GKZ hypergeometric system. Its solutionsare GKZ hypergeometric functions. We study the p-adic counterpart of the GKZhypergeometric system, which is a p-adic integrable connection with a Frobeniusstructure. Traces of Frobenius on stalks of Techmuller points are givenby the hypergeometric exponential sum over finite fields introduced by Gelfandand Graev.
