I will show that an arbitrary sequence of the Seiberg--Witten monopoles with multiple spinors on a closed 3-manifold has a subsequence, which converges (after a suitable rescaling) outside a subset Z of dimension at most one. The main tool used in the proof is the frequency function introduced by Almgren in the context of minimal submanifolds. In the second part of the talk I will discuss topological properties of Z.
