Lorenz maps have been studied a lot as flows or 1-dimensional expanding maps with discontinuity. Concerning thermodynamic formalism, few is known. Literature is abundant for SRB measure but almost nothing deals with other potentials. In this talk we will show that any 1 or 2-dimensional Lorenz-map admits a unique equilibrium state up to an assumption of slow recurrence for the critical orbit. Part of the talk will be used to re-define thermodynamic quantities (if necessary) and also to explain what are the problems arising when we consider these kind of maps, and how we can solve them. This is a join work with Vilton Pinheiro from UFBA -Brazil.
