In this talk I first briefly review some notations and basic facts on partitions of integers,
including Young frame and standard Young tableaux. Then I introduce the Burnside identity
which gives definition of Plancherel probability measure on partitions. Finally, I report a
recent work on asymptotic normality for random partition around the limit curve in the
bulk. Some basic ideas of the proof are given.
