In this talk we will prove the existence and various properties of the very fast diffusion equation
$u_t=\phi_m(u)_{xx}$ in bounded and unbounded domain
where $\phi_m(u)=u^m/m$ for $m<0$ and $\phi_m(u)=\log u$
for $m=0$.
