We discuss numerical simulations of fluid flow in and around drops. In particular, the surface tension of these drops may depend on local variations in the composition of the fluid, and thus lead to Marangoni effects. We apply these simulations to physical systems in which drops propagate in a tube, coalesce or settle under the effect of gravity. We focus on the effects of surface tension variations on the transport of the drops and on mixing within the drops.
