Econometric Learning: A Select Review

Abstract: Machine learning algorithms have been increasely used to improve econometric inference and to design policies. However some adjustment must be made to the traditional econometrics to preserve correct inference and policy designs. This talk reviews some recent advances.

艾春荣，著名经济学家，世界计量经济学会会士，美国麻省理工公司经济学博士，现任香港中文大学（深圳）经管院经济学教授和校长讲座教授，担任深圳数据经济研究院副院长和深圳市大数据研究院社会行为大数据实验室主任。研究领域是计量经济学、实证产业组织、实证金融和中国经济，近来，专注于大数据技术在行为大数据中的分析和应用研究。研究成果发表在国内外一流期刊，被国际学术界广泛引用。
