Stationary random subgroups and application to Furstenberg entropy

Abstract:
Stationary random subgroups are stationary measures on the space of closed subgroups (Chabauty space). Recently this notion is used to resolve conjectures on deterministic subgroups in the works of Fraczyk-Gelander, Gekhtman-Levit. In this talk we will discuss random walks on cosets of stationary random subgroups, and how it can be used to determine the Furstenberg entropy spectrum of special linear groups.
