Higher dimensional class field theory

Abstract: Higher dimensional class field theory aims to describe the abelian fundamental group of a scheme X of arithmetic interest in terms of idelic or cycle theoretic data on X. In this talk, we present a simple and direct approach to this theory. This is joint work with Moritz Kerz.
