Abstract: In this talk, we will recall the famous Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer Conjecture and introduce its
generalization to higher dimensional varieties, known as the Beilinson-Bloch-Kato conjecture. We then talk about some recent progress toward this conjecture in higher dimensions.
