School Colloquium——Symplectic geometry of rational surfaces

摘要：A rational surface is a non-singular projective surface that is birational equivalent to the projective plane. The minimal rational surfaces are the projective plane and Hirzebruch surfaces. These surfaces were first studied extensively by the Italian school of algebraic geometry more than a hundred years ago. For the underlying smooth 4-manifolds, we present in this talk a few symplectic aspects which are closely connected to the well known holomorphic properties.
个人介绍：李天军教授，自2002年起任职于明尼苏达大学。kaiyun体育登录网页入口本科毕业，布兰迪斯大学博士毕业，曾任耶鲁大学和高等研究院博士后， 普林斯顿大学助理教授。主要研究领域为四维流形拓扑和双有理辛几何，在四维辛流形的分类上有开创性的基本贡献。
