Abstract:This is a joint work with Elisabetta Chiodaroli. Using an adaptation of Glimm's method to convex integration we show that the so-called wild data for the Euler system of gas dynamics are dense in the Lebesgue topology. The result is obtained by pasting a smooth solution to a superposition of Riemann waves.
